Reservations about horse meat are unfounded. We get our meat from a company with a 20-year family tradition that has won multiple awards. The owner explained to us in a very understandable way why horse meat is perfect for consumption: "A horse would never drink from a dirty trough and a horse would never stay healthy in a bad environment such as factory farming. If meat - then horse meat!" Horse meat has many advantages: It is very lean and does not sit heavily in the dog's stomach. It is a very neutral meat with excellent nutritional values, but is also very tasty and a high-quality source of protein with little cholesterol. The dog is supplied with essential unsaturated fatty acids. The high content of vitamins A and B supports the health of the skin, coat and teeth and contributes to the healthy body function of the dog.
